Hola! Got this homework from Indri X). Okay, here goessss~

"You are having a close relationship with someone who loves you  so much. At first, you love him/her too. But you know that your feelings for him/her won’t stay any longer. And it’s true. When time goes by, the feelings for him/her faint away. While he/she still loves you much more than before (the one who loves you is an incredibly kind person) what will you do?"

"Kamu lagi deket banget sama seseorang yang sangat mencintai kamu. Awalnya, kamu juga mencintai dia. Tapi kamu tahu kalau perasaanmu itu tak akan bertahan lama. Dan benar aja. Saat waktu berjalan, perasaan kamu ke dia memudar. Padahal dy masi sangat mencintai kamu, bahkan lebih dari sebelumnya (orang yang mencintai kamu itu luar biasa baik). Apa yang akan kamu lakukan ?"

Rules:
1. Do this HW
2. Tell the previous person that you’ve done it
3. Pass this to 5 of your friends

Wow… Honestly, I’ve never had been in a relationship before. So I’m so not experienced. I’ve never know how that would happen. Even though I read so much romance books and watch romance movies, I never really care about relationships. Hehe. But because this is my homework and dammit! I got to do it, then okay, I’ll just answer. Don’t hope too much.

My answer will be very simple: Just tell the truth. If the person who loves you really loves you, then he/she can understand. Simple, huh? I know sometimes people can’t manage to hurt someone else. But it’s better late than sorry, right? So tell the truth before the truth hurts him/her even more.

Alright, I’ll pass this to Chelle (again…), Cha, Irene, Rina, Zeph.

Yea, I used this title cuz a few months ago, I did write something similar to this topic here with the title "It’s a Small World After All". The people I’m talking about here is different though. What? Am I posting in english again? Yes, I am. I’m in the mood of speaking in the most incredibly famous language ever!! ENGLISH! It really is a miracle! Gaby, the Indonesian-born girl is speaking English!! Ah yeaaa!

Well, actually, I just want to practice a bit of my english writing. Since I’m such a bad writer and speller and speaker too. Wew. Anyways, practice makes perfect, right? So, I’m practicing! Please don’t laugh, make a joke, cry, be angry when you read this post. Well, I’m not forcing you to not show any emotional for this post. I’m just really embarrassed of my poor english. So help me, will ya? Hehehe.

Okay, back to topic. I’ve been so happy lately. The reason is because I just got a super duper awesome, hot boyfriend named Taylor Lautner met my elementary school friend, like, a few days ago!! I was in her school from Primary 1 to 3! And seriously, if I hadn’t ask her school and what grade she’s in, I will be absolutely clueless. F.Y.I, I don’t have a clueless tattoo sticked on my forehead, so don’t ask for it. Aww, it’s been so long since I last met her.

My last year in Junior High School really is amazing. I actually met 4 of my P1-P3 friends! (I transfered to another school in Primary 4). So here’s the history of the schools I’ve been with:
Kindergarten: Somewhere in Singapore.
Primary 1-3: Somewhere in Jakarta (I won’t tell you guys the name of the school), I’ll just call it School T.
Primary 4-6:
Somewhere in Jakarta too. School IP.
Primary 7-present:
Somewhere in Jakarta (and again). School II.

It was really fun transfering schools actually. Because I could meet new friends and have connections to many schools and students. That’s fun, right? But there are negative things too. Too much transfering will mean that you can’t be forever in the same school as your close friends. And you have to leave them again and again. That’s really depressing, man… I can’t imagine myself leaving my best friends. I don’t mean ‘to leave’ as in ‘totally not seeing each other again’. But it’ll be hard and tough. The schedule are not the same anymore and you have to arrange a couple of things first before going out with them.

But fortune is fortune, Gaby is Gaby and Cool Gaby is Cool Gaby. I met my primary friends in so many different places. And that all happens now, in my last year of Junior High. Let me explain it to you one by one. X)

1. In the coridor of my school. I met a guy, who’s name is Rean (weird fake name). The night before, my best friend, Chelle, called me and told me that there will be a guy named Rean that will be transfering to my our school. And seriously, that name is so familiar. Too familiar. I actually squeeked like a stupid, dumb mouse when Chelle said Rean’s full name. She thought I think the name is weird (note: his name IS weird). I was afraid. There maybe a reason that there are 2 Reans in this terrible world (even though that seems really unlikely).

So whatever. I just went to school and start my day as what I had done with my days (ya know, killing bad guys, helping grandmothers cross the road, being cool). Nothing special, no sparks, no nothing. Just me in my ordinary life. I walked pass the classes when I saw someone VERY VERY VERY familiar to the Rean in my primary school. I looked at him like I was his fan or something, but for God’s sake and everything that is holy, I am not. It was just a hiperbole. To make this post dramatic. So yea, I walked pass him and I can’t control my mouth anymore. "Hey, are you Rean from School T? Do you remember me? I’m blablabla…" That just came out of my mouth out from nowhere. Gosh… I can’t stop babbling. Is it me or am I such a stupid uncontrolable girl?

Guys! He’s really Rean. And he remembered me! Aw, I’m so happy! I never thought that someone like him would remember anything about his lame P3 friend. Haha. So that’s how I met him.

2. This girl is also a new girl in my class. IN MY CLASS!! God! If it weren’t because of my classmate being with her all the time (she’s her cousin), I would not realize. I knew since P5 that my classmate (let’s call her Carol) has a cousing which is in my old school (School T). My old friend (let’s call her Hill) looks really different now. Before, she looks really girly and, God, GIRLY! Now, she had become a master of all the Tomboys in my class. She does not look like a guy, she’s not good in sports, but she is EXTREMELY STRONG babeyh!

She beats every girl and most of the guys that had arm wrestling with her. Really strong lady. Her face and brain is still the same though. She has a brilliant mind. She’s multi-talented, man! She can draw (well, I can draw too! If I draw a cat, it’ll end up being a chicken, but that doesn’t mean I can’t draw, ya know.), she can cook (hey! Me too!!! I can cook anything poisonous to us! It’s an accident actually. I’m too good in cooking that I can’t make anything good and yummy), she can do physics problems (I can do it too! I write whatever I want to write on the answer sheet and end up getting a very low score, but, again, doesn’t mean I can’t do it. At least God gave me luck for some of my answers.). XP

3. In my graduation place for my lesson I’ve been through for 8 times. If you want more details about this graduation thingy, you can read my older post. Just click here with a smile on your cute faces (well, no matter how hard you try to be cute, I’m still cuter XP). It is written in Bahasa Indonesia, though. Since last time, I don’t have the mood to write in English. Hehehe. I hate to say this, but my posts in Bahasa are more lifely and attracting. T^T which means I can’t go-international cuz my English posts are really badddd… Okaaayy, that’ll be enough complaining, let’s move on.

4. In my holy, beloved church. She was my friend’s girlfriend! So, there is my church friend named Dean (another fake name, this time is not weird, I promise). Dean went to my church with her girlfriend. They had been in my church for a couple of times, but I haven’t had time to introduce myself to Dean’s girlfriend. It was God’s plan actually. Last Sunday, my Junior Church instructor (I don’t know what you call ‘Pembimbing‘ in English. Of course it is not guardian. Any help?). She break Dean and his girlfriend apart and told Dean’s gf to sit near the girls (since she always sits beside Dean and the guys).

Dumb Gaby can’t stop herself introducing herself to Dean’s gf. Especially when my best friend in church (let’s call her Glory) ask me to introduce us because Dean’s gf looks lonely. So I did. I did. And I can’t really believe my ears when she said the name of her school and what grade she’s in. I can’t BELIEVE IT! It has been 6 years since I last saw her! And she has grown up really differently! She remembered me too! But can’t recognize my face because I look different (Oh, puh-leazeee, I look so much cooler, that’s why people don’t recognize me. Anyways, believe it or not, I look like a superstar! Yeaa!). *narcistic mode: FULL*

Gawd, I’ve been typing so much. I need to study for exams first. So I’ll post again tomorrow, or the day after, or the day after. Thanks for reading this boring and so-not-exciting post! God bless~

Hey guys, I’m back and will be posting in English. I got this very shitty report for my English class. And I think it is quite very challenging for me. We have to write a report in 900 words, I repeat 900 words!! Oh, let me repeat it again.. 900 words!!! I’m so not good in writing bullshits. This is really killing me.. Oh please don’t let this report stab my lovely dovey heart. I haven’t been in love yet! I have no experience in college yet!! I haven’t finished my Year 9!! And I haven’t had a husbanddd yetttt!! (A true girl’s dreams) I still have a long way to go, pals.

Okay, back to topic. I have to choose a topic to write for my report. And for God’s sake, it must contain information about Japanese culture. There are: Buddhism and Shinto, Samurais, Ancestor worship, and Japanese customs and traditions. I picked Japanese customs and traditions. You know why I picked that one? Because I think the internet may have damn lots and lots of informations about it.

Well, my teacher said we are not allowed to copy or rephrase anything from the internet. And so, I followed his rules. I will not be copying it or rephrasing it, I will be translating it. He said nothing about translating something, right? So I’m gonna search for the topic in my beloved mother language, Bahasa Indonesia, then I’ll be translating the article per sentence. Muahahaha *evil laugh* Gawd! I feel so smart. I hope my dearly English teacher won’t read my blog…. Or he’ll smack me right on my nose. Oh, that’s fine actually. He’ll eventually be destroyed by the poisinous, making-people-die-because-of-seeing-it mucus and snots inside my cute buttoned nose.

So.. here’s my report: (Warning, there will be lots of stuff in it and I write in a boring kind of way, so beware! Don’t be too focused on it or you’ll fall asleep, just skim through the paragraphs and don’t forget to give comments). Can’t believe I’m even writing this painful-to-make report..

In this report, there will be information about Japanese customs and traditions which is different from other countries. Japan is a country in Asia with lots of unique customs and traditions. It has traditional clothes called kimono, Geishas that are Japanese female entertainers, the overweight but really strong men who wrestle called Sumo, and Sado, a tea ceremony.

I chose this topic because I think it is the most interesting of all. I am somehow interested in Japanese customs and traditions. One of the factors is because I read Japanese comics and found out that Japanese customs and traditions are very awesome. The traditional clothes (kimono) are very cute and sweet. The Japanese foods are also very delicious and different from other countries. They make the food look good and attractive. I will explain the topic one by one starting from public bath.

The people in Japan also has very different point of view from my country, Indonesia. If in Indonesia, people are embarrassed to take a bath in a public bath together Japanese people tend to go to public baths to socialize with others. Their traditions are very different too! In Indonesia, festivals are not very popular and not many people are interested in going to festivals. While in Japan, there are so many festivals and Japanese people are so enthusiastic in visiting the festivals.

There are so many festivals in Japan. And almost all of them are celebrated in shrines. The festivals are usually used to celebrate the shrine’s deity or a special event. Some of the most famous festivals in Japan are Sapporro Snow Festival, Takayama Matsuri, Kyoto Gion Matsuri, Awa Odori, Nagasaki Kunchi, and Chichibu Yomatsuri.

The Sapporro Snow Festival is celebrated anually for a week every February during winter time in Sapporro. In the Sapporro Snow Festival, people can see so many beautiful snow sculptures. There will be snow slides, snow rafting and snow golf too!

If the Sapporro Snow Festival is celebrated in the winter, the Takayama Festival is celebrated in spring and autumn around April and October. It features a lot of decorated yatai (Japanese wooden shops).

In Japan, there are lots of female entertainers. They are called Geisha. Geisha is superb in Japanese arts. Before they become Geisha, they must first master in singing, dancing, playing instruments, etc. The training to be a Geisha can be for years. Apart from practice and talents, they must be good in socializing with others too. Geisha wears kimono and use powder to make their face look very pale. Women that are more than 21 years old are considered too old to become a Geisha.

Another exclusivity of Japanese customs and tradition is the cherry blossoms. It can be called as an unofficial national Japanese flower because we can see the cherry blossoms bloom every spring in Japan. The cherry blossom will bloom in the spring. Because the cherry blossoms are very beautiful, there is a celebration that is called Hanami (Cherry Blossom viewing) that is held every spring under the magnificent cherry blossom trees.

Sado, tea ceremony is very common in Japan. Japanese people provide tea ceremony lessons. Every hand movement has a meaning and has to be from the heart. The host is the one who prepares the tea. The tea used is usually green tea. The preparer has to make moves as gracefully as possible and provides the tea to be drunken by the guests. The most important instrument for tea preparing is the chasen (bamboo brush).

Japan also has its own traditional music.  Gagaku, which is the oldest one, comes from China and Korea. Biwagaku is another type of traditional music. It is played by the Biwa, an instrument similar to the guitar but has 4 strings. Sokyoku, a music played by a Koto (13 strings zither), Shamisen (3 strings guitar) and Shakuhachi (a very long flute that has a length of almost 55 cm). When only a Shakuhachi is played, then it can be called as Shakuhachi music. If only a Shamisen is played, then it can be called as Shamimsenogaku.

If Indonesia’s traditional sports are bull racing, bull or ram fighting, etc., Japan’s traditional sport is Hanetsuki. Hanetsuki is Japanese badminton. This traditional Japanese sport is played during New Year’s Day. It is played with a hagoita (that resembles the racket in badminton) and shuttle (that resembles the cock). This game has recently declined though. But people of Japan still collect the many different pictures drawn on the hagoita. The pictures drawn in the hagoita are not only Japanese women but also cartoon, famous people and fantasy characters such as Hello Kitty, Harry Potter, David Beckham, and more. There is a Hagoita Market at Sesonji Temple during the end of the year. In the Hagoita Market, there will be lots of people selling many kinds of hagoita.

Japanese customs and traditions are very different from my country, Indonesia. People in Japan tend to be more socialized by the amount of festivals held in a year. While in Indonesia, festivals are not really popular. In Japan, people still wear the traditional clothes in districts while in Indonesia it is very rare to see people wearing traditional Indonesian clothes. In Japan, traditional things are still done by the people, while in Indonesia traditional things done by Indonesians are hard to find. But even though Japanese and Indonesia has a lot to differentiate, there are also similarities. The traditional music is similar. In Indonesia, there is also a guitar with 4 strings but the name is different. It is called Ukulele in Indonesia.

So each country has a uniqueness of its own. But even though they are different, they still have similarities.

Well, that’s it for today. Fiuh.. I’m so tired. Need some sleep. Thanks for reading guys! X)
